Strategic Positioning and Construction Process
The Vietnam factory of Guangzhou Seagull Kitchen And Bath Products Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Seagull”), as a key link and core node in Seagull's global strategic layout, officially kicked off construction in 2019 and was successfully put into operation in 2022. This move is a strategic choice made by Seagull in response to the "Belt and Road Initiative" and to deeply layout the markets of the ten ASEAN countries. Based on China's mature R&D technology system and strong production capacity, the factory has achieved cross-border technology empowerment. It has now successfully established a full-process production capacity covering zinc alloy, copper alloy, stainless steel and plastic products, and has comprehensively laid out the full process of surface treatment processes such as electroplating, PVD and spraying.
Manufacturing Capacity and Technological Innovation
The factory deeply integrates automation, digitalization and informatization technologies, meticulously builds standardized production lines, vigorously promotes low-cost automation systems, and successfully implements combined unit production lines. This series of measures has significantly enhanced the company's business scale and modular design level, laying a solid foundation for efficient production.
Regarding Quality management, a complete quality control system based on the high quality requirements of customers has been established. By obtaining ISO 17025 laboratory certification, IAPMO product certification and SA8000 social responsibility system certification, the competitive edge of Vietnamese manufacturing in terms of quality has been further strengthened, and it has won wide recognition in the international market.
Localization Operations and Talent Strategy
The factory actively implements a localization strategy for its management team, focusing on cultivating technical backbones of Vietnamese origin. Gradually, a management team has been formed that adheres to the company's standards while integrating local characteristics. Meanwhile, by combining short-term overseas support with long-term training, the labor cost has been effectively reduced and the overall operational efficiency has been significantly improved.
Regarding Future development direction: Currently, the factory is accelerating the construction of its mold design capabilities and is committed to building a fully functional RCEP regional manufacturing center. This center will serve the US market and radiate throughout the ASEAN region, realizing the strategic vision of "designing at one location and manufacturing in multiple places", and injecting new and strong impetus into the global development of Seagull.
