Company Profile
The company was established in 1998 and, with the approval of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, was wholly transformed into a joint-stock company on August 12, 2003. On November 24, 2006, the company made its initial public offering of 44.5 million shares and was successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Driven by the national policy promoting prefabricated buildings, and under the strategic backdrop of vigorously developing the new business of customized integrated bathroom solutions, the company completed its name change in January 2018, renaming its original Chinese name "Guangzhou Seagull Bathroom Products Co., Ltd." to "Guangzhou Seagull Residential Industry Co., Ltd." Accordingly, the stock abbreviation was changed from "Seagull Bathroom" to "Seagull Residential," and the stock code remained 002084. As of December 31, 2024, the company’s registered capital stood at 646,056,040 yuan.
Under the national policy on prefabricated building industries, our company is committed to industrializing interior fit-outs and has adopted a full-industry-chain layout centered on prefabricated integrated kitchen and bathroom solutions, thereby realizing our company’s noble vision: “To become the premier provider of components, parts, and services for interior fit-out industrialization, and jointly build a better home.” Seagull Housing & Construction and its subsidiaries primarily engage in the R&D, manufacturing, and service of high-end sanitary ware, ceramics, bathtubs, shower rooms, bathroom cabinets, complete kitchen cabinets, tiles, and other comprehensive components for prefabricated integrated kitchen and bathroom spaces. In the smart home sector, we are actively expanding our presence in smart doorways and security systems.
The company continuously invests in product and technological innovation, swiftly responding to customer needs and adapting to market changes. As of December 31, 2023, the company has been granted a total of 790 patents, including 143 invention patents, 370 utility model patents, and 277 design patents. The company has also obtained a total of 447 registered trademarks, of which 419 are domestic trademarks and 28 are international trademarks. In 2023, the company was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise. Its independently designed products have won the German Red Dot Award and the iF International Design Award for several consecutive years, received the Silver Award and Excellence Award at the U.S. IDEA Awards, and earned the Japan G-Mark Design Award. The invention patent for the jet valve core was awarded the 22nd China Patent Excellence Award; this patent has once again won a national-level award, following its receipt of the 7th Guangdong Patent Gold Award in 2020. The company has obtained certification for its intellectual property management system and has been designated as a nurturing enterprise under the Guangzhou “Specialized, Fine, New, and Unique” Support Program. The company’s R&D platform has been honored as the Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research and Development Center, the Guangdong Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, and the Guangdong Provincial Industrial Design Center. It is also recognized as a Guangdong Prefabricated Building Industry Base, a Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise, and a National-Level Intellectual Property Advantage Demonstration Enterprise. Seagull Housing & Construction and its subsidiaries have obtained multiple management system certifications, including certifications for quality management systems, environmental management systems, occupational health and safety management systems, social responsibility management systems, and intellectual property management systems. The company has also acquired the national CNAS laboratory accreditation and the Guangdong Province Clean Production Enterprise Certification. Furthermore, the company has been honored as an AAAA-level Standardized Good Behavior Enterprise, an AAA-level Harmonious Labor Relations Enterprise in Guangzhou, an A-level Taxpayer Enterprise, an Annual Model Enterprise for Compensation and Benefits, and an Annual Best Employer Enterprise.

The laboratory covers an area of approximately 800 square meters and is fully equipped with sophisticated testing devices and a team of professional engineering technicians. Its mechanical testing capabilities encompass a wide range of tests, including sealing tests, high-temperature and high-pressure strength tests, flow rate tests, resistance to operational stress, resistance to load stress, life-cycle tests, and back-siphonage tests. In 2006, the laboratory received accreditation from IAPMO as an in-house testing laboratory, giving Seagull an unparalleled advantage in certification programs such as UPC/cUPC! In 2009, the laboratory was authorized by the U.S. IAPMO laboratory to conduct AB1953 (California Low-Lead Plumbing Products Ordinance) and EPA energy-efficient certification tests, and obtained the corresponding competence certification. This long-standing certification history and extensive experience have provided strong assurance for Seagull’s products to enter the international market. Since its establishment, the laboratory’s management has been steadily improved, and its testing capabilities have continuously enhanced. It has now established a complete and effective management system. To further elevate the laboratory’s management standards and technical capabilities and ensure the accuracy of testing results, the laboratory has adopted the CNAS-CL01:2006 (ISO/IEC 17025:2005) “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories” management system. The laboratory obtained China National Laboratory Accreditation in February 2011.

The company boasts a professional team specializing in mold design and manufacturing. It possesses advanced technologies for designing and producing gravity casting molds, low-pressure casting molds, forging dies, stamping dies, die-casting molds, and injection-molding molds. The average lead time for mold manufacturing is 25 days, placing the company at an internationally competitive level within the same industry.

The company has also introduced PLC-controlled gravity casting machines and gravity sand-core machines, and has further developed precision hot die forging technology for brass components. Additionally, the company has mastered advanced technologies and processes in areas including hydraulic forming of variable-section tubes, precision composite tool manufacturing, and automated machining processes for integrated automatic machine tools.
