Green Procurement

2020-09-04

Guided by the ultimate goal of achieving comprehensive customer satisfaction, in 2012 we continued to promote the establishment of supply relationships characterized by win-win cooperation, shared risk-taking, and resource sharing.

      Supplier Selection

We strictly adhere to the review criteria and approval procedures stipulated in the “Procurement and Supplier Management System,” using the “Supplier Qualification Assessment Form” as our operational guideline to select suppliers in a fair and impartial manner. Key criteria for supplier selection include: a quality system that meets our requirements, competitive pricing and delivery schedules, continuously evolving technology and R&D capabilities, a sustained business philosophy, a strong commitment to production safety, a keen focus on environmental protection, compliance with social laws and regulations, and strict adherence to information confidentiality.

    Supplier Management and Improvement

To ensure the safety and stability of the supply system, the company employs tools such as the balanced scorecard and quotas to regularly assess suppliers’ performance against key indicators—including on-time delivery rate, qualification rate, and cost reduction—rewarding those who excel and penalizing those who underperform. The company also organizes specialized teams to provide suppliers with management guidance and technical support, continuously fostering their improvement and enhancement.

      Supplier Social Responsibility Management

In accordance with the “Supplier Social Responsibility Management Procedure,” the company has signed a “Corporate Social Responsibility Commitment Letter” with its suppliers, requiring each supplier to take concrete actions to “eliminate sources of pollution, reduce consumption, ensure safety and environmental protection, and give back to society,” thereby fostering a positive relationship between the company and its employees based on respect for human rights. Meanwhile, by signing the “Integrity Pact,” each supplier is obligated to engage in fair trade and practice self-discipline.

        Green Procurement

To protect the global environment and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, suppliers are required to implement measures that reduce environmental impact, including establishing environmental and chemical substance management systems, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, actively improving production technologies, prioritizing the use of recycled resources, and properly managing and disposing of waste.
