July, brimming with the vibrant essence of summer, brings scorching yet radiant sunshine—just like our eager hearts as we rush toward our children! On July 9, the summer camp for Yexuan Hope Primary School in Shaanxi, meticulously organized by the Guangdong Seagull Cultural and Educational Foundation, officially kicked off amid the children’s anticipation. This is not only a journey of knowledge sharing but also a relay race of love and dreams!

Opening Ceremony: A Blend of Care and Anticipation

At the opening ceremony, the foundation’s partners, filled with sincerity, conveyed deep care and high expectations to the children. They encouraged the students to immerse themselves fully in the summer camp, give free rein to their creativity, unlock their potential, experience pure joy, and gain even more knowledge.

Icebreaking Operation From unfamiliar to familiar

On the eve of the camp’s opening, the foundation’s partners had already arrived at the school ahead of time. Through carefully designed icebreaker games, they engaged with the children in a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and fun, quickly melting away any sense of unfamiliarity and deeply attuning themselves to each child’s unique qualities.

Meanwhile, the foundation also conducted in-depth visits to the three students’ families, bringing care directly to their homes and laying a warm foundation for future targeted support efforts.

The teaching team for this summer camp is composed of volunteers from the group. They will offer children a diverse range of courses, including creative crafts, rhythmic dance, engaging experiments, scientific exploration, outdoor sports in the sunshine, joyful music, and traditional intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting. Each course not only imparts fun and interesting skills but also sparks children’s curiosity and creativity.
