The Sha Tou Street Anti-Drug Office conducted a training lecture on anti-drug knowledge for our company.

In response to the call from government agencies, and to enhance employees' awareness and ability to identify, prevent, and reject drugs, and to deeply instill the concept of "staying away from drugs and choosing a healthy life," the ShaTou Subdistrict Anti-Drug Office conducted a "Drug Prevention Knowledge Training" lecture at Haiou Residential Complex.

This special lecture was delivered by Social Worker Liu from the Guangzhou Xinmingai Social Work Service Center—Shatou Subdistrict Drug Control Office. Using a PowerPoint presentation, the lecture covered topics including “The Past and Present of Drugs,” “What Are Drugs?” “An Introduction to Precursor Chemicals,” “Firmly Reporting Drug-Related Crimes and Illegal Activities,” and relevant drug-control laws and regulations. The lecture placed particular emphasis on the disguises used by new types of drugs and highlighted several recently popular and highly harmful new drugs. Moreover, it drew upon real-life cases involving drug-related crimes and offenses to explain the law through these cases, analyze the issues at hand, and learn valuable lessons from them. This approach enabled employees to gain a deep understanding of the dangers drugs pose to individuals, families, and society, and helped them strengthen their awareness of recognizing, preventing, and resisting drugs, as well as enhancing their vigilance and readiness to resist temptation.

Subsequently, social worker Liu also showed the employees simulated drug models, educating them to strengthen their ideological defenses against drugs, cultivate a healthy and positive outlook on life, and comprehensively foster an atmosphere of “staying away from drugs and pursuing a healthy lifestyle.”

Finally, everyone expressed their commitment to deeply engrave this cautionary education in their hearts, take it as a warning, start with themselves, and never touch drugs. They also pledged to guide and educate their family members and friends around them to enhance their awareness and ability to recognize, prevent, and resist drugs, consciously stay away from drugs, and further strengthen the entire workforce’s awareness of drug prevention.
